Business as Usual- Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

To All of our clients

In these uncertain times we wanted to reach out to all our clients to let you know we are here to offer support and guidance over the next few months. Health and wellbeing of our clients, staff and all who we come into contact with is the most important issue right now, therefore further to the Prime Ministers announcement, we have made the decision that we will be working remotely from Monday 23rd March.

Rest assured, we will continue to complete your Accounts, VAT returns, Payroll and Tax affairs in a timely manner, therefore it is business as usual! We are still here to support you and your business.

Documents are stored electronically, and we have a robust and stable remote access system. We are confident that there will be no disruption to service levels as a result of us needing to enforce working from home.

If you and your staff are working remotely and / or struggling to keep your records straight, then please let us know. We can help come up with temporary solutions if you can scan and email documents to us, we can securely store them on our virtual database for you.

At this time, we would advise that email is the best form of communication for us. We will still be available via telephone between the hours of 9am and 5pm, however please bear with us. All staff are available for conference calls where appropriate for meetings rather than meeting in person.

Please note we still have measures in place to collect post and physical records sent to the office, therefore this will still be processed as normal.

We are absolutely committed to you, our clients, and we will continue to support you in these unprecedented times, if you need any assistance or guidance please let us know. Our dedication to all our people, both our own and our clients, is paramount and together as a community if we all pull together and support each other we will come through this challenge.

Here is a quick action plan to help focus your thoughts:

1.    Keep your eye on Government advice:  https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response
2.    Your main purpose is to protect the health of yourself, employees and customers and then reduce the risk of the financial impact to your business. So you need to take action now.
3.    Hold a meeting with key team members and work through the agenda in point 1.
4.    Summarise the actions and allocate responsibility to make them happen.
5.    Talk to us – we are all in this together.

Just to reiterate the health and safety of our employees, clients and contacts is paramount and we will do all we can as a business to ensure our actions minimise the impact of COVID-19 on them.

Best wishes
